Next to the Ruše-Fala railway line, at kilometre stone 15.3, there is a fundamental rapper with a Latin inscription in a stable gneiss wall.
Of all the rappers in the former Austria-Hungary, only this one survived on the territory of Slovenia.
The benchmark was built during the time of Austria-Hungary to determine the altitudes of individual elevation points (reppers). It is still used today to determine ground movements over a longer period of time (over 100 years) and to determine the exact altitude.
