Mirko Vovšek Gallery and Museum collection

The gallery of Miroslav Vovšek was officially opened on September 26, 2022, in the House of Culture Ruše, as a tribute to Miroslav - Mirko Vovšek, the deceased honorable citizen, educator, cultural worker and artist.

Artworks by Miroslav Vovšek are presented, which are the property of the family and are otherwise hidden from the public. In the part of the gallery where the museum collection is located, the artist's life is presented on billboards, and his personal items are also on display in display cases. In the other showcases of the museum collection, farm objects donated by the Cehner family and works of Pohora glažuta, lent by Danica Vagner on the occasion of the International Year of Glass, are presented.

The exhibition "Miroslav Vovšek - Retrospective of his life path" was on view until September 26, 2023.
