Vodna "RIŽA" ob Lobnici

V literaturi omenjajo vodno rižo ob Lobnici še kot “ruško vodno rižo” ali “vodno drčo na Smolniku pri Rušah”.

In literature, RIŽA near Lobnica is also referred to as "Ruška vodna riža" or "water brook at Smolnik near Ruše". It was built as early as 1874, with a length of 5728 m by the Lobnica stream. A few years later, they built its extension via the Šumika waterfall from Bajgot, where one branch leads to Lahova Žaga and the other to Piklerica. It was built in 1901 with a total length of 11,664 m. It can be seen from older sources that the last length with all branches was 16,000 m. It was created on the initiative of the glassmaker Benedikt Vivat and served the needs of glassmakers for many years. An example of water "rice" is also set up at the roundabout in Smolnik.
